Questions
Does the photo get uploaded to resize it?
No. Resizing is done by drawing your image onto a canvas at the new size, entirely on your machine. Nothing crosses the network.
Free for as many photos as I like?
Yes. No daily quota, no queue, no paid tier that unlocks bigger dimensions.
What is the maximum image size it accepts?
There is no fixed limit. Browsers cap canvas dimensions somewhere around 16,000 pixels a side, so an enormous panorama may refuse — anything from a normal camera or phone is fine.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It is often faster on a phone than the round trip of emailing a photo to a laptop — pick from your camera roll and the resized copy saves back to it.
