No. It is a calculator in a web page — no accounts, no payment processing, no record of where you ate.
Free?
Yes. No ads elbowing in while you are trying to read the numbers at a dark table.
Is there a limit on how many people?
No practical limit. The rounding is weighted so the individual amounts always add back to the exact total, however many ways you cut it.
Does it work on a phone at the table?
That is precisely what it is for. Big tap targets, and a copy button for the group chat.
