The bill arrives, everybody reaches for a phone, and the maths takes longer than the dessert did. Put in the total, the tip and how many of you there are, and it works out who owes what — including the awkward case where two people had the tasting menu and one had a salad. The rounding is weighted so the shares add back to the exact total.

Questions
Is anything about the bill sent anywhere?
No. There is no account, no payment handling and no record of where you ate — it is a calculator running in the page.
How much should the tip be?
It depends where you are: 15 to 20 per cent is normal in the US, 10 to 12.5 in the UK if service is not already included, and rounding up is plenty in much of Europe. Check the bill for a service charge before adding more.
Can some people pay more than others?
Yes. Adjust individual shares for whoever had the expensive wine, and the rest is redistributed automatically.
Why do the amounts add up exactly?
Rounding to the penny per person usually leaves a gap of a cent or two. The odd amounts are distributed so the individual totals always sum to the real bill.
Does it work at the table on a phone?
