Questions
Are the photos uploaded?
No. They are decoded and placed into a PDF by your browser. Given how often this is used for ID documents and bank letters, that is the whole point.
Will the pages be in the right order?
Yes — you set it by dragging the thumbnails, rather than trusting whatever order your phone handed the files over in.
Does it handle photos from an iPhone?
Directly. HEIC files are converted on the fly, so you do not need to change your camera setting or email them to yourself first.
How many photos can go into one PDF?
Dozens comfortably. A hundred full-resolution photos will strain a phone's memory, so split those into two documents.
