Questions
Is the document uploaded to be processed?
No. Scanner apps are notorious for quietly syncing your documents to a cloud account. This one has no account and no server — the pages are processed in the browser and saved to your device.
How do I get a decent scan from a photo?
Flat surface, no shadow across the page, phone directly above rather than at an angle, and let the camera focus before you take it. That does more for legibility than any filter.
Will the text be searchable?
No. This produces an image-based PDF, which is what almost every phone scan is. It is fine for submitting forms; it is not text recognition.
Does it work on an iPhone?
Yes, HEIC photos included, and the PDF saves into Files ready to attach to an email.
Is it free?
Entirely, with no page limit and no watermark — unlike most scanner apps' free tiers.
